I did like this story but I got off to a rough start. That was entirely my fault since I read book one in this series and Whiskey beach by Nora Roberts back to back and got my story lines mixed up. Simon is just another volunteer for Fast Rescue. Or so many think. Kiera is not just another artist who likes to illustrate fairies either. But she is the type who has trouble follower her.

It took a bit to build into this story. Based on the description I thought it would launch right into a rescue, and it didn't. But I love that it was not a damsel in distress. I enjoyed the title, but there was so much going it, it suffered a little from the second book slump. We shall see how #3 turns out.
