Carlotta Wren cannot stay out of trouble. When we last saw her she was falling from a balcony at an Elton john concert. Now with her arm in a cast and on leave from Neman Marcus she has nothing to do. Coop invites her on a vacation/body pick up in Florida. They are on a super secret trip to pick up Kiki Deerling, Atlanta diamond heiress. Of course if Carlotta is involved nothing can be easy. After 2 attempts by body snatchers, Carlotta believes that the death of the 21 year old may not be natural. Looking into the suspicious doeth only gets her in more trouble. Oh, and her father has been following her. Five men in her life and they all drive her crazy. This is a fun and quick series. Not full mystery, not full romance, but enough to keep the reader entertained.
