📖 This was such an amazing end to the Highlands series! Eilidh and Fyfe are both such lovable and interesting characters that I really fell for in the last book and wanted to see end up together so badly! The slow burn aspect kept me on the edge of my seat and I was so thrilled with how everything wrapped up.
Eilidh is a famous actress but things haven’t turned out the way she’s always hoped and she decides to come back home, especially after the spotlight brings some unwanted attention her way. Her long time friend, and brother’s best friend, Fyfe, has been a confidant to her while she’s struggled being away, but he doesn’t quite know how to handle her being back in their small town. Their attraction only grows, especially when they spend more time together as an expected surprise springs up for Fyfe—a child. Having been abandoned by his own mother, Fyfe takes his role as father very seriously from the first moment, and Eilidh is there to help him every step of the way. They both have to watch out for what’s lurking…
🎧 Zara and Shane have done such an amazing job throughout this series! Zara was perfect as Eilidh, her accent sounded amazing in my ears! And Shane as Fyfe with that Scottish accent was HOT! I definitely am going to need more Scottish books from Samantha so I can get more of these accents!
