Creepy, haunting, brilliant

This book has been on my TBR pile for some time and I have no idea why I put it off for so long because it was brilliant. It was perfect to fill the void in my life while waiting for season 14 of supernatural. So yeah any fans of the show please go pick up this book and the sequel immediately (I haven't read the second one but I guarantee of its anything like this one I will devour it)
The world of ghosts and witches felt natural and not forced, no over the top fireballs flying from hands of stupid stuff. It was just as if superstitions and witchcraft were real. The characters were well thought out and I loved Cas and his little group of Ghostbusters he acquired throughout this book. The story was amazing and took a turn on a direction I wasn't seeing but to be honest I couldn't tell where this book was going to end up. Would he kill anna, wouldn't he, and that's what I loved. The unexpected turns and the world Kendare Blake created. 12/10 all lovers of the supernatural and even romance fans will enjoy.
