Second chance romance is a hit or miss for me. This one landed right in the middle for me. I am usually a fan of angst but something about their angst didn't sit right for me. I felt Georgia had a lot of growing up to do and miscommunication is one of my least favorite tropes and felt there was a lot of that in Georgia and Eli's story. The first half of the book really annoyed me but I did enjoy the book once they started working together.

I enjoyed Kyla Garcia's narration and wished it was POV and see what Eli was thinking.
