This was a really interesting look into the end of a marriage and the journey there.
I liked the way the story went back and forth in time to look at the relationship to slowly give us more context about the relationship.
I like that the story starts with the end of the relationship then delves deeper.
I like that the story isn’t super dramatic, it’s complicated and messy but quiet and realistic. There’s no huge reveal and no huge climax but the story ebbs and flows.
It’s hard to say whether I *enjoyed* this because it’s about the break-down of a marriage but it was a compelling read that felt very raw and real.
Maybe give it a miss if you are fresh off a divorce/break up and check the content warnings!
