King of Wrath
by Ana Huang
The arranged marriage trope has been done and done before. There’s no denying it. BUT, I think this one was so smoothly done it felt original. I loved the characters and the relationship between our two mains. It gave off every vibe I was hoping for and then some. I haven’t really read many books in this particular category so it was nice to venture off and be met with a great book. Now is it predictable? Yes. Do I care? No. I think if you come here looking for a fun time that’s exactly what you’ll find. Plus it has me wanting to read the others in this series to see how well the author truly captures me. But this book is not for the weak, lemme tell you.
