This book was listed on a 100 Cult Books list. I had previously read another book by this woman, called Cult Insanity. I first became aware of this religious group from listening to a cult podcast show (called CULTS). I think I found Cult Insanity when I googled the Lebaron name. I hate to say that I enjoyed this book, because the stuff that this woman (and everyone else involved) endured is truly beyond my comprehension. I appreciated her point of view and her story. It was very interesting to see how a group of people lived and believed that is vastly different than my life experience. I am glad she was able to find some moments of happiness in her life, because she certainly deserved it.
