What a mesmerizing, fantastic story about a girl who is half human, half dragon. I cannot describe this book or do it justice, but if one likes magical creatures, gothic tales, as well as a coming of age story this could be the next book for you. Dragons and humans have come to a peace treaty for the past 40 years, but that is in peril as a member of the royal family has been murdered. There were so many details in this story - the author thought through so much that I had to re-read several times to figure out people and their relationships. There is a guide at the end of the book that would have helped. There is a second book out and I am interested to see what happens next to Seraphina, Orma, Kiggs, and Glissenda.
