Resistance: The Morus Series by Lora K. Kroush
5.0

Overview: I don't usually read dystopian books (Hunger Games is the only other I've read) but I love this series so much. Easy reading, likeable characters, a bit of humour, death and gore and a smidge of romance. What's not to love? This book is the second in the series (the first being Recurrance). There had better be a third book! It reminds me a lot of the video game "The Last Of Us".

Good Points: This book carries on from the previous. It's been a while since I read the first so I appreciated the short recaps. The story flows well and never let's up on the action and pace. The characters have some amazing snappy dialogue. The plot twists I didn't see coming either. The ending...urrgg! How long until the next book is out?

Not so Good Points: I possibly felt there could have been a bit more back story. There is some about the characters previous loves before the morus virus took over, but it would be interesting to learn more. It did all end very suddenly which left me a bit shocked and with so many unanswered questions but I can't really complain...I do it to my own readers!

A great series to get your teeth into (pun intended).
