Superfreakonomics, Illustrated Edition: Global Cooling, Patriotic Prostitutes, and Why Suicide Bombers Should Buy Life Insurance
by Steven D. Levitt, Stephen J. Dubner
Really fun. Somehow more cohesive than [b:Freakonomics A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything|1202|Freakonomics A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything|Steven D. I enjoyed nearly every part of the book - the tales were informative, and the style was easy and conversational.
I'm a little puzzled by the cover - I'm not sure what makes the prostitutes patriotic, but this is a minor quibble, more than overwhelmed by the number of times in the past few days that I've heard or read something and been able to relate the thing back to the book.
