I don’t have a lot to say about AMERICAN ROYALTY besides that I really enjoyed it! Y’all ever have that feeling? You know a book is good and that you really enjoyed it, but you don’t have a ton of concrete opinions? 🤔  Anyhow, while I would have enjoyed more of a substantiative conclusion, I appreciated the lack of a drawn out 3rd act breakup and that the “breakup” was not over miscommunication but a real issue that was out of their control. The premise of a Black American rapper and a British prince with a hearty helping of forced proximity and just a dash of critique of how musicians are treated in the industry makes for a real good story. This book also had a satisfying end, and might I say that Prince Jameson has some serious game, y’all! Oh, and if you’re a clutcher of pearls, this book ain’t for you cuz it SPICY spicy 😂
