The Viscount Who Loved Me
by Julia Quinn
4.5 Stars
Overview: I watched the Netflix series before reading the book and I have to say I loved the series. I'd heard the book was different so was nervous going in. I have to say that whilst I preferred the actual plot of the series I still thoroughly enjoyed this book. And it's a romance! The banter and dialogue between the characters sizzle (although they talk around the subject far too much) and it was enjoyable reading.
Good Points: Great characters (even though Antony is a bit of a tool at first) and snappy dialogue. I love the tone of Lady Whistledown. I can't help but compare it to the series.
Not so Good Points: I did roll my eyes a few times at a few scenes, mainly the bee incident and the bedroom scenes
