Assassins from rival factions falling in love? AND there's wibbly wobbly timey wimey? Uh yeah, this is an Emm book.

I'm so glad that Shelftember helped me get to this book because it's SO good. I loved the letters they wrote each other as they flitted through time, especially the postscripts and how they were addressed. I'm at a bit of a loss for exactly *how* the time war works and what the point of it really even was, but I don't think that's the point of the story. It's about watching love form across time. I will say that I don't recommend listening to this as an audiobook, just because you'll lose a lot of the text's beauty. It's more character-focused than plot-driven (which is usually kinda eh for me), but I really enjoyed it for what it was.
