mj_reads 's review for:
Saga, Vol. 2
by Brian K. Vaughan
“Did. Did you finish inside me?”
“Are you kidding? I thought you told me to finish inside you.”
“That was Sexy Alana! She’s a crazy person! Sexy Alana is obsessed with her nipples and uses the word “
dick” unironically! She’s not to be trusted!”
Saga Vol 2 is just an fun and entertaining as vol 1, but it provides more plot and back stories for readers to really get invested in what is happening.
I once again find myself struggling to review this graphic novel. I think the issue here is that I don’t have much to say besides the fact that the art work is STUNNING, that doesn’t give too much of the plot away? Pretty much everything that happens in this is important in some way or another, and even the things that are just nice surprises, I want to leave as surprises for anyone who may decide to pick this up. So I apologize for yet another vague review, but I don’t have much to say other than the fact that this series continues to amaze me. If you loved vol 1 I think you’ll love this as well, and if you were on the fence about vol 1 I think this one might just win you over. I’ve already started vol 3 and I’m ready to continue on and see where it leads me.
