myntop 's review for:
Stranger Than Fanfiction
by Chris Colfer
I listened to this book on the Libby app in Audio. It was read by Chris Colfer himself and I think that added so much to the story for me. I was a fan of Colfer from way before he started writing, so listening to him read his book was almost as thrilling as the events in the story were for Topher, Mo, Sam and Joey.
I enjoyed the friendship that these four had and how they had bonded over a favorite TV Show but it had grown into a life-long friendship. The idea of a summer road trip together before college was awesome and I was a little jealous. I wish I'd done something similar when I graduated. I also loved how accepting they each were of each other, even at the end.
I'm finding it difficult to review and show how truly awesome this book is without spoilers, so I'm just going to say that if you love Young Adult fiction and you enjoy reading stories about teens who end up finding their way by somewhat unconventional means, you are going to love this book. It covers a wide variety of topics and will touch many hearts.
