I went back and forth about this book a lot. I wanted to sympathize with Toby and hate Rachel, and I had a feeling that at some point we would hear from Rachel and learn her side of the story. I wish there'd been a better arc for her and that I could understand her perspective. I couldn't relate to these people who didn't love their spouses and wanted to social climb for the sake of it.
