Whew, this was something else. I loved the relationship between Mark and Tristan. Tristan is such a sweet baby, innocent soul and a good man but it's easy to see how he gets lost in this world. My one disappointment is in the prequel, we get to see so much of Isolde but in this book, she's in maybe the last third? I wanted more of her, but I understand why we just see Tristan and Mark's relationship developing, as it sets the stage for the upcoming books and an eventual MMF. I also loved getting to see Tristan and Isolde's relationship develop and THAT CLIFFHANGER! I am so intrigued and cannot wait for the next book.
