This book is so slow but so much happens it’s incredible!! The toxic female friendship represented on here is equal parts cathartic and scary.
I adore that Ferrante gives life to about 1000 neighbourhood characters. It grounds this book in a deep sense of reality.
I’m genuinely finding it hard to adequately articulate how wonderful, sad and real this book
