The main story was fine...but then the second half was...what the fuck?

The first half is the main story and we get more progress between the two leads. The main guy finding out she's really a girl but not giving a shit and telling her to keep it a secret. Some great moments between the two characters. But 2nd half is a dumbass story that feels more like a AD by the creator than anything. It's not even the same story..it's like taking up half the book for a "sneak preview"
