Summer holidays!
The cover illustration makes it look like they were going to the countryside to go gardening, although they went to the beach.
In particular, they went to Rae's hometown and Claire met her parents.
And had a crossover with Pirates of the Caribbean, lol.
Claire is starting to realize why the commoners started the protest in the academy a while ago. And generally why they despise aristocrats.
She's also getting quite clingy to Rae. Which is funny to read, but I do miss their bullying/bickering a bit.
Rae's mother is a bit odd, but funny. Sure has some questioning habits, though...
She mentioned that Rae "might just disappear someday". Got me wondering. Since she didn't die before being reincarnated into this world... what if modern-Rei and fantasy-Rae simply swap places? Basically like Taki & Mitsuha in KNNW, but through different universes.
Rae's father is quite adorable indeed, and I totally can't unsee the tulip beard, lmao.
Things are starting to change again, and Rae's knowledge of the game's events might not be such an upper hand anymore. Which is overall good, I suppose, because that means things are changing for Claire's better sake as well.
~
Was quite a good volume. Made me laugh a lot as well.
