Ugh. I really wanted to like this book, this series, but I just can’t. I wanted more, SO much more.
I wanted more sex. Being a RH, I thought it would be heavy on it, but it wasn’t. I’m fact, I’m not sure if it is a RH, except for the fact Marnye is dating several guys. I wanted to see group, or even pairs, but we only get one on one, and not more than once before fading to black.
I wanted more of a connection to the guys. I wanted an individual connection, something special which binds them, together. I wanted a reason for her to want to be with each of them. I wanted a reason why she chose Creed first.
I wanted more bullying, more sophisticated bullying. I’ve said before this series reads young, and the bullying is immature. I wanted it to be more horrible, more hard hitting, more violent even, but it’s kind of tame.
I said I’ve yet to read a good RH book and I’m not sure this one is it. I know people rave about this series, but for me, it’s just okay.
