Glory and the Master of Shadows is the 4th book in the Lady Charlotte's Society of Angels series but it's the first one that I've read. I have to admit, there were characters in this story that I'm sure I didn't have the backstory about (all of Glory's friends) but I don't think I missed too much.

I really enjoyed this one. The character development was great and the way Callaway built the relationship between Glory and Wei was well done. All of the secondary characters helped to drive the story forward as Wei looks to seek revenge and Glory gets caught up in the mix. I appreciate the level of steam in Callaway's books alongside the actual story too.

Consider picking this one up when you get a chance. I'll be going back to read the others soon.
