This was kind of lame/boring despite some neat ideas.
These feel like B-side stories for Spider-man. I know Peter David wrote 2099 Spider-man for years and then came back and wrote him, and now is writing Ben Riley story but this...well it was okay. It's a retelling of certain events but a what if ben didn't die and if May died instead. Then we have a wrestling story. Oh and the first one shot story about a blogger posting about being followed by spider-man her whole life.
Good: Enjoyed the one shot actually. A bit dark at the end but worked out really well if you ask me. I also thought the Ben story had moments, particularly the start and end, that made it pretty dang intriguing throughout.
Bad: The art sometimes suffered big time, becoming pretty awful at points. The "mask" storyline about the wrestler was fucking dumb and a waste of time.
Overall okay at best. I'd probably go with a 2.5 at highest or a 2 if I really think about it. I just couldn't get into this one.
