I enjoyed this. It's fast paced, exciting and a very quick read. I became far more invested in the plot arc and worldbuilding than I had really expected and wanted to know more about the various alien races. I also loved the focus on what it was like to be each animal the characters turned into it. I can definitely see why this became a beloved children's series and I probably will read more of it in future.
