I found myself confused at the beginning of the book bouncing between new characters, but they were engaging enough to make me want to take the time to break it down and keep notes to help myself stay on track, which is an unusual thing for me.  The story then just started to roll and the plot twists kept twisting right to the final page.  I never "figured it out" at any stage, and while not all those moments were shocking, I still never saw them coming.  I love a book that can keep me guessing as much as this one.  Can't wait for the next installment.
