Ashlynn Ella's Story
by Shannon Hale
I will probably give the same review for all of the short stories in this series. They are meant to give you a little bit of background on the kids of our favorite fairy tale characters. These kids all go to the same school, and their sophomore year they have to relive their parents fairy tale. The premise is really cute, and I see it as the anti Monster High. I have even touted it that way for parents who want something like Monster High with the dolls and cartoons, but do not want monsters a part of their kids up bringing.
Cinderella Cinderella (I cant help it, the song runs through my head). Her daughter Ashlynn is set to inherit a Happily Ever After, but first she must graduate. In truth she's not that much into marrying a prince charming because they all seem alike. She would rather meet the farm boy who makes nests for birds. Now if only she could keep track of time. Its horrible having your cloths turn into rags anytime you run late.
