I overall enjoyed this book. The characters were interesting. And there were a few strong women characters, which I love. They felt like real people. Frustrating at times but you ended up rooting for them at different points. The plot was intriguing and I loved the world building. The myths, history, and societies were so well executed. I also enjoyed the different magic system.
I enjoyed the writing style. It was easy to read but still well written.
I did find myself super lost in the beginning and I think we got an overwhelming amount of information at once. And it was so slow and I had a hard time focusing on it which wasn’t great with how much info you’re given. But as it comes together, it really comes together.
Overall a solid read.
