Me Before You
by Jojo Moyes
Aarghh.
Just how do you write a book with such foreboding (the cover, the title of the next book, the reviews I've heard) and still get your reader to ignore them? well, up until the last 10 pages you know, got to give them some advanced warning at least.
It didn't turn out to be the story I was hoping for. But I did definitely enjoy the start and middle of this book. Wouldn't recommend it to a lot of people, but it was educational in some areas and was funny and sweet and heartbreaking in others. I wanted to see the movie, but now I'm not so sure, I might leave it for a while.
