I had high hopes for this book after seeing people sing this series’ praises. While I won’t say I was disappointed, it definitely wasn’t as exciting as I expected it to be.
This is a case where book 1 sets everything up for books 2 and 3 which is definitely where the action awaits me - right?! I enjoyed the main character Stevie Bell. She’s a true crime aficionado, a bit quirky and I found her quite endearing.
I’m interested in unraveling the mystery of the kidnapping/disappearance of the school founder’s wife and daughter as well as all the subsequent “accidents” that have taken place at the school. Is it the continued work of
