I'm quite conflicted about this book. There were moments where the storytelling was beautiful, and there was a plot twist that I loved and did not at all see coming. However, overall I found it a bit boring, and if it hadn't been so short I probably wouldn't have been motivated to read the entire book.

I'm also not at all keen on the style of the illustrations, though I will say that the front cover is beautiful.
