The interview-style storytelling in this book was just OK. I felt it took away from any suspense or anticipation that would have made this story so much better. There were no edge-of-seat or *gasp* moments. It was just like: this is what happened. And as the reader you're like: k *shoulder shrug*. Made the horror feel less horror.
