My God, Jemisin can write!
I think she's my favorite author currently writing fantasy out there, she's brilliant and innovative and has a handle on both her source materials and characters and her ability to see things differently (and arguably better) than the dominant fantastical makes me read every single darn thing she ever writes.
It's rare that a fantasy writer manages to combine exquisite world-building with an excellent grasp of character, but Jemisin does it. Good for her.
We need more women like her, telling great fantasy.
