✨Initial Reaction: The content warnings are a lot. I realized it during reading and more while writing this review. I'm sure that many people will be concerned, as they should be. There are a lot of concerning big content warnings, but remember it's [author:Lyonne Riley|36465417].

✨Final Reaction: This. book. is. incredible. I really really really try to stay away from the tropes/content warnings involving cheating and active pregnancy (I'm fine with epilogue pregnancies normally) BUT I had to read this because of Lyonne Riley. And she FED us with this book. The trope and content warnings were handled very very well by the characters. Dee (FMC) and Russ (MMC) meet during a hard part in their life and learn to deal with heavy topics very early in their relationship, not always making the perfect decisions, but emotional ones and will need to deal with the consequences. I have cried, cried, and cried reading this book, both good and bad, and I'm so very glad to have read this book.

💖Quotes:
🍰 "Will he eat me out like I'm a cake covered in icing again?"

💢 "I can't believe I just did that. But I'm not just enraged by what he's done-I'm furious at myself, too, for falling for it. Why did he have to lie to me? Now I can't trust him."

🏞 "She has a knack for plants, just like she has a knack for nurturing everything in her life."

🤰 "She's mine. She's my girl, my daughter, and I need to meet her. I need to hold her, and learn who she is, and watch her become the best version of herself. I'm on the verge of tears when suddenly, a small wail fills the air. She's here."
