I had been putting off reading Ninth House because I had picked it up from Target one day on impulse and became worried that maybe I wouldn’t like it. After reading it I’m not sure why I had that worry to begin with. Alex Stern was a likable main character, and though at times I was confused as to what was past and what was present, it was an enjoyable read with lovely three-dimensional characters. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and the characters the whole time reading, and now I’m just waiting to get paid to grab the next book in the series.
