With the series St Clair did really well with incorporating the source material, making it modern & adding so much spice without being (too) redundant. But if you are going to give a villain POV.. IMO there should be something that you aren’t getting from the protags-the other side of the story. Theseus POV was just miserable to read, & we already knew he was awful I don’t want a rapist POV it just killed the vibe & did not add anything unknown, no secret motivation etc.
Ultimately I did like the growth of Hades & Persephone as a couple & how they faced the battle with their friends by their sides.But Seph cried for 1/2 the book, I get emotions running high but it was ALOT
