I was really excited for Genevieve and Isaiah's story because we were left wondering in Gypsy King WHAT HAPPENED ON THAT MOUNTAIN?! Well, we get our answers and so much more. I really love the marriage of convenience/fake marriage trope and I also love anything Devney Perry so this was right up my alley. I knew this story would be a good one, and this was definitely a perfect second installment to the Clifton Forge series. I wanted Isaiah to get a happy ending, because he deserved one with a past like his. He deserved better, and he was trying to heal and move on and Genevieve was just the thing he needed to heal his heart. I also loved how he helped her heal, and support her through not only her mother's death, but the kidnapping she endured with Bryce in the first book. I'm truly a huge fan of two people who are broken and help each other heal and fall in love in the process and get that happily ever after. I love that the author takes on subjects such as loss, grief, past mistakes, guilt, sacrifice, forgiveness, past demons and turns them into such a beautiful story. I have to applaud the unique premise of this series and that is what happens with the motorcycle club when they decide to clean up their act and stop being a club, and how that affects everyone around them.
