I’m going to be honest- this was a hard book to read. Some of the scenes were gory and it was generally sad. I felt the need to finish it because a) I needed a happy ending and b) I wanted to learn more about the process. However, I did not enjoy reading it and I’m glad it’s over. It’s an important story but maybe one needs to be im the right mindset to read it.
