Match Me If You Can by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

Match Me If You Can (Chicago Stars, Book 6) by Susan Elizabeth Phillips (overdrive library kindle 3★) (iTunes audio 1★) 3★

Kindle - library overdrive
iTunes audio read by Anna Fields

Really really dislike all the characters. Felt no sympathy or connection to any of the character. Second book I've read of Susan's. Her humor and writing is ok. But I loved the first book so much more (Heroes Are My Weakness). Match Me was dull. Could also be that it's set in Chicago (and I'm reading this during hockey playoffs - Anaheim Ducks vs Chicago Blackhawks). My dislike to the book could also be the reader for the audio I got on iTunes. She has a nasal voice, and when the speed is increased, it sounds like a computer voice.

The middle was good. Portia's character was skip-able. And the ending was predictable but ok.
