I almost gave this a 2 star but luckily the second half of this book is much better.

See, the first half is the Godhand storyline. Which may be good (haven't read it yet) but you know what's not good? Only getting 1 part of a 3 part story. It's confusing and messy and makes little sense in the way it flows. The 2nd half is back to a normal storyline and Sinestro is ready to face his rival, Mongol, while also dealing with someone on his team betraying him.

Overall, after the messy first half, this recovers nicely. While not as entertaining as volume 1 we do get some pretty great fights, Sinestro being a smart SOB, and a shocking cliffhanger which leaves us guessing who. Overall, it's still fun and I'll read the final two volumes. A 3 out of 5.
