I was never into reading novellas until I wrote my own book. They are the perfect place for another idea the author had for the story that did not quite fit but still wanted to be shared.

This is written in Maxon’s point of view before the selection takes place (a prequel for the series). Even though it has been years since I read The Selection Series, it did not matter. I remembered the characters and the plot easily.

It was a nice insight into what Maxon was feeling before the series begins. Really easy read.
