Notice Me describes itself as a roller coaster ride - and it isn't lying. From the very beginning we are taken on quite the adventure of watching Shannon find herself and the man she loves. The author does a fantastic job showing drawing us into Shannon's life and the people in it. Her best-friend and daughter of a multi-billionaire, Megan, is at times sweet and friendly, while at others she is quite a rich little snob. Shannon and Megan's relationship is really the core of the story at first as Shannon is willing to anything for Megan since she is her friend. When Shannon begins to receive anonymous love letters that touch her heart deeply, the story begins to get quite intense. We go from jealous boyfriends to kidnapping and blackmailing, all while innocent little Shannon it caught in the middle of the drama tornado. All this wraps up in one of the best climaxes I've seen in a long time. It truly is a fairy tale ending, but so many times I was terrified that it wouldn't work out the way it should. My only complaint was that at times the Shannon's internal thoughts were a bit repetitive. She would go on and on about how much she owed Megan and her family and how she wasn't worth it and how much better they were. It was just a bit much for me. But I'm still excited to see what Embrace Me (book 2) brings after the shocking conclusion and HUGE reveal at the end of Notice Me. - See more at: http://hotofftheshelves.blogspot.com/2013/10/review-notice-me-by-rebecca-turley.html#sthash.k9gM69Ym.dpuf
