There's Someone Inside Your House

I thought this book started off great. There was a murder in the first chapter which to me is the perfect way to start a horror novel! However, after that the murders were more spaced out, and the love story of Makani and Ollie took precedence.
Don’t get me wrong, I love a good romance, but I wanted more horror! This book was a 50/50 split between the two, and I personally feel if this was 100% horror then it would have been a 5-star read for me.
There is plenty of gore in this story, but it still read very YA to me. I would still recommend it though if you enjoy YA romance and YA horror since it’s a mix of the two.
I listened to this on audiobook, and Bahni Turpin did an excellent job as always. She’s one of my favorite narrators so she never disappoints me!
