Saving Silver by Xavier Neal was an interesting dive into her new paranormal romance series. I really enjoyed the humor and wanted to know more about the Awaker world. I did struggle with this story, I felt like not enough attention was given to exploring the world with the reader. I also felt like Dae just accepted her new role as a Fated Mate without question, which left me longing for the romantic tension between her and Z as they explored their relationship together. I was a bit put off by some of the work choice during the intimate scenes. Overall, I liked the world and wanted to know more about all of it as well as what was going on with the kidnappings, but was disappointed in the romance between Dae and Z. I can’t wait to see more of the Awaker world in book 2!
