I am struggling with this one. Maybe I’m not a dark romance fan? I gave it four stars because it had all the elements of a great book, and I didn’t dislike it.. but it just didn’t wow me. I wanted more substance and plot. I know it’s a dark romance but it was sooooo long. I just expected more substance for the amount of pages.

Essentially, there is a magical town full of witches and demons and the FMC fights to keep her soul from a sexy demon and vengeful god.

I already have the next two in the series, so I will read them, but I’m not jumping to. There was no cliffhanger which was nice. Each book in the series is related but standalone and can be read in any order.
