This was 800+ pages! 118 chapters. It had a "book 1" and "book 2" and I was glad it WAS all one, and not divided into two actual books (just book 3, not 3 and 4). But still, it all went pretty quickly for me. A little sad to finish up the storyline, but I will likely read the "Until the End of the World" series... although there are a few little spoilers having read this companion series first (I know where Cassie ends up). Both series are on Kindle Unlimited, but the latter is a little more pricey to add the audio (and audio is how I've been getting through so many books of late. Multitasking).
The last book had left things really up in the air. Here, comes the final confrontation with Walt and Kearney. We find out what happened with Grace and Eli. We have to deal with more deaths. The epilogue really does wrap things up.
With lots of the action and fighting, between both other humans and zombies, it was easy to make mental comparisons to scenes I'd seen in The Walking Dead. This rates at the top of all the Zombie books I've read.
