Okay here we go...
I really enjoyed this, I think it's a really great addition and expansion to Clare's Shadowhunter world! I love the relationships in this one and the brief appearances of other characters and how their impacting the shadowhunter world years later.
ALSO THAT ENDING THOUGH. I LOVE IT. ALL OF IT.
I know a lot of people have issues with the ending and I don't really see why, although I can't get into it cause spoilers, but I liked it.
I also loved getting to learn more about parabatai in this book, even though we've seen Jace and Alec, and Will and Jem already, I think it's really interesting to see how the parabatai-thing works.
If you've loved Clare's other shadowhunter novels, I definitely recommend this one! I love seeing the Blackthorns, but beware you will constantly feel AWFUL for Julian, and if you haven't read a Clare novel in a while, you might have forgotten how ANGSTY they are.
