"The connections between and among women are the most feared, the most problematic, and the most potentially transforming force on the planet." - Adrienne Rich
So honestly... reading this book after the eventful election week we had was hard at times - because when I first started this book, I could somewhat connect to these women, but then it quickly became something I could relate to being a woman all too well. (The BIGGEST of these differences is that I married a kind and understanding man, one more like Graham. But I understand the struggles nonetheless.)
If you are going into the journey of the Weyword women, you will find something inspiring during these times.
