The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle
by Stuart Turton
This book started slow for me. By slow, I mean SLOW. It wasn't until chapter 10, that it stopped being a chore to read. If it wasn't my bookclubs pick this month, it probably would have ended up on the abandoned shelf.
However, I can truly say this book is worth the read. Impressive characterization, a refreshing take on a murder mystery, and an ending that gives you the warm fuzzies.
