I don't know what to say for this one yet. I haven't sobbed while reading a book in a long time...and I was spoiled on a death, or so I thought, because that character didn't die? The entire 1000 pages I was so worried for them, and they were fine. It was a nice relief but it definitely tainted my experience when I was reading chapters from their POV.
I really don't know how to feel. Am I happy at how it ended. I think so? Am I numb and emotionally drained from reading about a war that terrorized my favorite fictional characters for 1000 pages. Absolutely, yes.
